Mientras tanto, el cine y la televisión nos dan una presentación que, cuando no repugnante, es demasiada estúpida y dolorosamente mala de ver. El público del cine y la televisión ha ido disminuyendo en los últimos años con buena razón. Demasiado de la presentación aún de la "cultura", insulta en sus implicaciones y descansa en un desprecio por el hombre.
... Las películas pornográficas, libros y revistas, sin embargo, por malos que sean, representan sólo la manifestación superficial y la superficie de un cáncer profundo. Tenemos hoy día una inversión radical de valores y un odio estudiado de la fe bíblica, la ley y las normas, porque el Dios trino de la Biblia es visto como el enemigo final. Lo más extraño que algo es a la palabra de Dios, lo más altamente es apreciado. Una película "educativa" reciente de televisión, al abordar a unas personas tribales "primitivas", declaró que las personas y su cultura deberían ser tenidas "en su valor nominal absoluto." Esta es la forma en que cada tal grupo "primitivo" es abordado. Por supuesto, no tal absoluto, es alguna vez atribuido a la Escritura, al cristianismo, o ¡a la vida de un niño por nacer! El niño por nacer es visto como simplemente una parte del cuerpo de la mujer, su propiedad, que, como alguien ha señalado, es exactamente como los esclavos fueron vistos una vez, como propiedad.
La pornografía final es muy simplemente descrita en Proverbios 8:36: "Mas el que peca contra mí, defrauda su alma; Todos los que me aborrecen aman la muerte." El odio a la vida y el amor a la muerte es la pornografía final. Cada forma particular de la pornografía es simplemente una ejemplificación de este hecho.
En Génesis 6:5 se nos dice del mundo antes del Diluvio, "Y vio Jehová que la maldad de los hombres era mucha en la tierra, y que todo designio de los pensamientos del corazón de ellos era de continuo solamente el mal". La pornografía es el triunfo de esta imaginación mala, ve a la gente, no como son, sino en términos de una imaginación que usa a la gente para servir a un hombre-dios. La pornografía sexual hace a todo el mundo esclavo de la imaginación pornográfica, las mujeres, por ejemplo, sólo existen para complacer al aspirante dios y arrullar en deleite al "privilegio."
Esta imaginación pornográfica del mal no es limitada a la esfera sexual. Un área aún más popular es el ámbito político-económico. Una de las obras más influyentes y malas de la pornografía jamás producida fue La República de Platón, la cual redujo la gran masa de la humanidad a la categoría de herramientas para los reyes-filósofos. El respeto concedido a Platón es prueba del carácter enfermizo de la academia.
Igor Shafarevich, el matemático ruso soviético, ha descrito al socialismo como el amor organizado de la muerte. El ideal socialista es la igualdad en la muerte. Llama a la destrucción de la jerarquía, de la propiedad privada, de la religión, de la familia, y, finalmente, de la vida misma (En Alexandr Solzhenitsin: De Entre los Escombros). Su fuerza de gobierno es el odio, el intento de ser dios, y la hostilidad feroz a todo lo que es del Dios vivo y verdadero. La imaginación socialista se niega a reconocer la existencia de Dios, ni la existencia del hombre, aparte de su propio poder y control. Así como los cuentos pornográficos del Marqués de Sade crearon a las personas imposibles que no podrían existir en la vida, así también la imaginación socialista llama para la creación de personas semejantes. Cuando la gente se negó a cumplir con la imaginación de Sade, él trató de obligarlos a hacerlo; la imaginación socialista también usa la coerción para someter hombres vivos en su molde del mal.
... De acuerdo con la Escritura, el pecado imperdonable es la blasfemia contra el Espíritu Santo (Mateo 12:31-32). Esto ha sido visto como la inversión del orden moral, hasta el punto que un hombre hace el mal su bien, y el bien de Dios su mal. Todas las formas de coquetear con la pornografía, abogar o abrazar de todo corazón esta inversión. Esta es la razón que cualquier participación con esta inversión del orden moral es tan peligroso mortalmente.
En mi estudio de La Política de la Pornografía, llamé la atención sobre el hecho de que la nueva pornografía sexual es radicalmente diferente de las formas más antiguas. Las formas más tempranas de la pornografía sexual fueron conscientemente escritas como "los libros sucios", ellos estaban jugando con el pecado y el crimen y lo sabían. La pornografía nueva es escrita como la nueva salud, la nueva libertad, como un testigo a la buena vida verdaderamente. Se nos presenta, pues, con una inversión del orden moral careciendo en las obras más antiguas. Esto ejemplifica el pecado contra el Espíritu Santo en su motivación.
... ¿Cuál es entonces nuestra esperanza? Aparte de Cristo, no hay esperanza. El poder redentor de Jesucristo solo puede salvar a los hombres. La palabra-ley de Dios solo da las normas para la libertad y la prosperidad.
... Amar a Cristo es amar la vida. La vida está llena de lo inesperado (incluyendo invitados) y el desorden. ... Donde la pornografía sexual, el aborto, el socialismo, y más están involucrados, yo no trato de imponer normas personales sobre otros, porque lo que está en juego no es una preferencia personal, sino la ley de Dios, el orden de Dios, la vida misma. Ni yo ni ningún otro hombre tiene derecho a decir que "Se haga mi voluntad." La voluntad de Dios solo es lo correcto.
Jesucristo es el Camino, la Verdad y la Vida (Juan 14:6). Su obra y poder por medio del Espíritu Santo es una inundación inmensa de la gracia, la autoridad y el poder de regeneración el cual vuelca y hace añicos las cosas que son así, que sólo aquellas cosas que son inconmovibles pueden permanecer (Hebreos 12:27). Contra esta fuerza, los que hablan de la muerte están impotentes. Por lo tanto escoge la vida y vive. Es nuestro llamado reconstruir todas las cosas en términos de la soberana palabra-ley de Dios, para traer a todos los hombres, naciones y todos los ámbitos de la vida y el pensamiento en cautiverio a Cristo, nuestro Rey, en la libertad del pecado y la muerte y el cautiverio a la vida y la justicia. Nuestro Rey a su debido tiempo hará incluso el cementerio de muertos ¡vivos en Él!

THE ULTIMATE PORNOGRAPHY
In these days, some people who are normally the most as sleep to the world around them are actually stirring and showing signs of life and even indignation! I am referring to parents of children in state schools. Normally unaware of the radical subversion of their children by humanism, these parents are in growing numbers being shocked out of their indifference by the kind of "literature" assigned to their children.
Meanwhile, films and television give us a fare which, when not repulsive, is too stupid and painfully bad to watch. The film and television audience has been decreasing in recent years with good reason. Too much of even the "culture" fare is insulting in its implications and rests on a contempt for man.
...Pornographic films, books, and magazines, however bad they are, represent only the superficial and surface manifestation of a deep-seated cancer. We have today a radical inversion of values and a studied hatred of Biblical faith, law, and norms, because the triune God of Scripture is seen as the ultimate enemy. The more alien something is to the word of God, the more highly it is prized. One recent "educational" television film, in approaching a "primitive" tribal people, declared that the people and their culture should be taken "at absolute face value." This is the way every such "primitive" group is approached. No such absoluteness, of course, is ever ascribed to Scripture, to Christianity, or to the life of an unborn child! The unborn child is seen as merely a part of the woman's body, her property, which, as someone has pointed out, is exactly how slaves were once viewed, as property.
The ultimate pornography is very simply described in Proverbs 8:36, "But he that sinneth against Me wrongeth his own soul: all they that hate Me love death." The hatred of life and the love of death is the ultimate pornography. Every particular form of pornography is simply an exemplification of this fact.
In Genesis 6:5 we are told of the world before the Flood, "And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually." Pornography is the triumph of this evil imagination; it sees people, not as they are, but in terms of an imagination which uses people to serve a man-god. Sexual pornography makes all the world the slave of the pornographic imagination; women, for example, only exist to please the would-be god or to coo in delight at the "privilege."
This pornographic evil imagination is not limited to the sexual sphere. An even more popular area is the politico-economic realm. One of the most influential and evil works of pornography ever produced was Plato's Republic, which reduced the great mass of humanity to the status of tools for the philosopher-kings. The respect accorded to Plato is evidence of the diseased character of the academy.
Igor Shafarevich, the Soviet Russian mathematician, has described socialism as the organized love of death. The socialist ideal is equality in death. It calls for destruction of hierarchy, of private property, of religion, of the family, and, finally, of life itself (In Alexandr Solzhenitsin: From Under the Rubble). Its governing force is hatred, the attempt to be god, and the savage hostility to all that is of the true and living God. The socialist imagination refuses to recognize God's existence, nor man's existence apart from its own power and control. Just as the pornographic tales of the Marquis de Sade created impossible people who could not exist in life, so too the the socialist imagination calls for the creation of the like people. When people refused to conform to the Sade's imagination, he sought to force them to do so; the socialist imagination uses coercion also to bend living men into its evil mold.
...According to Scripture, the unforgivable sin is blasphemy against the Holy Ghost (Matt. 12:31-32). This has been as the inversion of the moral order to the point where a man makes evil his good, and God's good his evil. All forms of pornography flirt with, advocate, or whole-heartedly embrace this inversion. This is why any involvement with this inversion of the moral order is so deadly dangerous.
In my study of The Politics of Pornography, I called attention to the fact that the new sexual pornography is radically different from the older forms. The earlier forms of sexual pornography were self-consciously written as "dirty books"; they were playing with sin and crime and knew it. The new pornography is written as the new health, the new freedom, as a witness to the truly good life. It presents us therefore with an inversion of the moral order lacking in the older works. It exemplifies the sin against the Holy Ghost in its motivation.
...What then is our hope? Apart from Christ, there is no hope. The redeeming power of Jesus Christ alone can save men. the law-word of God alone gives guidelines for freedom and prosperity.
...To love Christ is to love life. Life is full of the unexpected (including guests) and the untidy. ...Where sexual pornography, abortion, socialism, and more are involved, I do not seek to impose personal standards on others, because what is at stake is not a personal preference but God's law, God's order, life itself. Neither I nor any other man has the right to say "My will be done." God's will alone is right.
Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). His working and power through the Holy Spirit is an overwhelming flood of grace, authority, and regenerating power which overturns and shatters the things which are so that only those things which are unshakable may remain (Heb. 12:27). Against this force, the death-sayers are helpless. Therefore choose life and live. It is our calling to reconstruct all things in terms of God's sovereign law-word, to bring all men, nations, and every sphere of life and thought into captivity to Christ our King, into freedom from sin and death and captivity to life and justice. Our King shall in due time make even the cemetery dead alive in Him!
