Mis Antecedentes ... (English)

¡Hola! Pensé que debería decirles más acerca de mí.
Crecí en la ciudad del Cusco, Perú terminando la Secundaria en el Colegio Santa Ana en 1984. Luego de estudiar Inglés por algún tiempo en el ICPNA (Instituto Cultural Peruano Norte-Americano), llegué a ser Cristiana en 1986 y miembro de la Iglesia Evangélica Presbiteriana. El Señor permitió que pasara por una prueba de salud personal y tuve que viajar a EEUU en un par de ocaciones. En 1990 me casé con el pastor Doug Holmes de Iowa y a través de los años hemos tenido seis hijos entre las edades de 18 a 3 años. Hemos servido en el ministerio desde 1991. Para ayudar a la familia económicamente, trabajo a tiempo parcial como intérprete médica de Español en los hospitales de las ciudades de Hampton y Mason City. Tambén he servido como intérprete judicial. Actualmente vivimos en una casa de campo al sur de Coulter, Iowa.

My family.

Hello there! I thought I should tell you more about myself.
I grew up in Cusco, Peru graduating from Santa Ana High School in 1984. After studying English for some time at the ICPNA (Peruvian Norte American Cultural Institute), I became a Christian in 1986 and member of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church. The Lord allowed me to go through a personal health trial and I had to travel to the US  on a couple of occasions. In 1990 I married pastor Doug Holmes from Iowa and over the years we have had six children ranging in age from 18 to 3 year. We have served in the ministry since 1991. I work part time to help make ends meet as a Spanish medical interpreter for hospitals in Hampton and Mason City. I also have served as a court interpreter. We all presently live on a farm south of Coulter, Iowa.
