¿A QUIEN SIRVES A DIOS O AL HOMBRE? 2da Parte

COMO EMBAJADORES DE DIOS,
DEBEMOS PERMANECER FIELES A SU JUSTA NORMA

RESISTIR AL PODER JUSTO, ES RESISTIR A LA ORDENANZA DE DIOS.

NO TENEMOS EL DERECHO DE ACEPTAR, IGNORAR, O SILENCIOSAMENTE ESTAR DE ACUERDO CON LA MALDAD SIMPLEMENTE PORQUE NO ESPERAMOS JUSTICIA DE LOS HOMBRES QUE NO SIGUEN A DIOS.

RESISTIR EL PODER MALIGNO, NO ES RESISTIR LA ORDENANZA DE DIOS.

DEBEMOS EXIGIR
JUSTICIA DE TODOS LOS HOMBRES.

EL DEBER ES NUESTRO... LOS
RESULTADOS PERTENECEN A DIOS.

PORQUE LOS MAGISTRADOS NO ESTAN PARA INFUNDIR TEMOR AL QUE BIEN HACE, SINO AL MALO.

ROMANOS 13:3

LA RESPUESTA JUSTA AL MAL

NO SEAS VENCIDO DE LO MALO,
SINO VENCE CON EL BIEN EL MAL.

LA PALABRA DE DIOS REVELA QUE LOS JUSTOS RESISTEN EL MAL.

(1 Samuel 18-24)
. Sadrac, Mesac y Abed-nego se negaron a postrarse. (Dn.3)

(Gn. 19)
. Aarón hizo el becerro de oro. (Ex. 32)
. Eli no restringió a sus malvados hijos. (I S. 2)
(I Co. 5)

WHOM DO YOU SERVE GOD OR MAN- Part II

AS GOD'S AMBASSADORS,
WE MUST REMAIN FAITHFUL TO HIS RIGHTEOUS STANDARD.

RESISTING RIGHTEOUS POWER IS RESISTING THE ORDINANCE OF GOD.

WE DO NOT HAVE THE RIGHT
TO ACCEPT, IGNORE, OR QUIETLY GO ALONG WITH WICKEDNESS
SIMPLY BECAUSE WE DON'T EXPECT
RIGHTEOUSNESS FROM MEN THAT DON'T FOLLOW GOD.

RESISTING EVIL POWER IS NOT RESISTING THE ORDINANCE OF GOD.

WE ARE TO CALL FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS FROM ALL MEN.

DUTY IS OURS...RESULTS BELONG TO GOD.

FOR RULERS ARE NOT A TERROR TO GOOD WORKS, BUT TO THE EVIL.
ROMANS 13:3

THE RIGHTEOUS RESPONSE TO EVIL

BE NOT OVERCOME WITH EVIL
OVERCOME EVIL WITH GOOD

GOD'S WORD REVEALS THAT THE RIGHTEOUS RESIST EVIL.

. Abraham gathered his 318 armed, trained servants and pursued the kings that kidnapped Lot. He destroyed them and rescued Lot. (Gen. 14)
.The Hebrew midwives lied to Pharaoh and refused to kill babies. (Ex. 1)
. Moses's parents hid him from Pharaoh. (Ex. 2)
. Rahab lied to the king of Jericho about the spies. (Josh. 2)
. David did not obey God's anointed, king Saul. (1 Samuel 18-24)
. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego refused to bow down. (Dan.3)
. Daniel refused to obey the king of Babylon. (Dan. 6)
. Joseph and Mary fled to Egypt to avoid Herod's destruction of children. (Matt.2)
. Peter and John refused to stop preaching. (Acts 5)
. Paul and other Christians conspired against the authorities to execute Paul's escape in a basket. (Acts 9)

THOSE WHO DO NOT RESIST EVIL ARE EXAMPLE OF FAILURE.

. Lot tolerated the evil of Sodom and Gomorrah. (Gen. 19)
. Aaron made the golden calf. (Ex. 32)
. Eli did not restrain his wicked sons. (I Sam. 2)
. The Corinthian church accepted and praised sexual infidelity. (I Cor. 5)
. The churches of Pergamos and Thyatira did not resist evil. (Rev. 2)

The Scriptures declare that we are to be peaceful men; long-suffering; not brawlers; returning good for evil; leaving vengeance to God; ministering to the basic needs of our enemies; and suffering minors wrongs patiently. But...

WHEN MORE SEVERE FORMS OF EVIL COME, THE RIGHTEOUS RESIST.

Those that serve God are to be salt and light. We speak truth. We live by faith. We stand in the gap. We strive to protect the innocent - to rescue those led to slaughter. We seek justice. We expose and reprove the evil works of darkness. Acceptance of or submission to evil is not a testimony to the righteous and goodness of God. We should never cloak cowardice in false piety, righteousness, or Christ-likeness for the sake of our own skins.

"WHO THROUGH FAITH SUBDUED KINGDOMS, WROUGHT RIGHTEOUSNESS, OBTAINED PROMISES, STOPPED THE MOUTHS OF LIONS, QUENCHED THE VIOLENCE4 OF FIRE, ESCAPED THE EDGE OF THE SWORD, OUT OF WEAKNESS WERE MADE STRONG, WAXED VALIANT IN FIGHT, TURNED TO FLIGHT THE ARMIES OF ALIENS."

¿A QUIÉN SIRVES A DIOS O AL HOMBRE?

AHORA, PUES, OH REYES,
SED PRUDENTES;

ADMITID AMONESTACIÓN, JUECES DE LA TIERRA.
SERVID A JEHOVÁ CON TEMOR,
Y ALEGRAOS CON TEMBLOR.

HONRAD AL HIJO, PARA QUE NO SE ENOJE,

Y PEREZCÁIS EN EL CAMINO;
PUES SE INFLAMA DE PRONTO SU IRA.

BIENAVENTURADOS TODOS LOS QUE
EN ÉL CONFÍAN.
         SALMO 2:10-12

¿QUIÉN DECIDE LO QUE ES BUENO Y MALO?

UNO SOLO ES EL DADOR DE LA LEY, QUE PUEDE SALVAR Y PERDER

Santiago 4:12

PROVERBIOS 17:15

DIOS MISMO
TODO LO DEMÁS ES IDOLATRÍA

ES NECESARIO OBEDECER A DIOS ANTES QUE A LOS HOMBRES.

HECHOS 5:29

NINGUNO PUEDE SERVIR A DOS SEÑORES.

WHOM DO YOU SERVE GOD OR MAN

BE WISE NOW
THEREFORE, O YE KINGS

BE INSTRUCTED,YE JUDGES OF THE EARTH.
SERVE THE LORD WITH FEAR,
AND REJOICE WITH TREMBLING.

KISS THE SON, LEST HE BE ANGRY,
AND YE PERISH FROM THE WAY,
WHEN HIS WRATH IS KINDLED BUT A LITTLE.

BLESSED ARE ALL THEY
THAT PUT THEIR TRUST
IN HIM
        PSALM 2:10-12

WHO DECIDES WHAT IS GOOD & EVIL

THERE IS ONE LAWGIVER, WHO IS ABLE TO SAVE AND TO DESTROY.
JAMES 4:12

GOD IS THE ONE LAWGIVER, AND HE ALONE DEFINES GOOD AND EVIL.

This simple statement is central to Christian teaching, thought, and principle. It is not for men or angels to assert an alternate standard of right and wrong. Yet, rebellion in the Kingdom of God often starts with subverting God's righteous standard. Satan's challenge to Eve in the garden claimed that what God had called evil - do not eat from the Tree of Knowledge - was not really evil, but good. Satan's method to draw Adam and Eve away from God is alive and well today. Men perpetually seek to redefine good and evil. But how should we define good and evil?

DO WE GET THE WISEST MEN TOGETHER TO DECIDE?
DO WE TAKE A VOTE? LET THE MASSES DECIDE?
DO WE ELECT A PRESIDENT AND LET ONE MAN DECIDE?

IS THE U.S. SUPREME COURT THE ARBITER OF RIGHT AND WRONG?

"WOE UNTO THEM THAT DECREE UNRIGHTEOUS DECREES, AND THAT WRITE GRIEVOUSNESS WHICH THEY HAVE PRESCRIBED;"
ISAIAH 10:1

"HE THAT JUSTIFIETH THE WICKED, AND HE THAT CONDEMNETH THE JUST, EVEN THEY BOTH ARE AN ABOMINATION TO THE LORD."
PROVERBS 17:15

IS GOVERNMENT YOUR GOD?

"THOU SHALT HAVE NO OTHER GODS BEFORE ME."
EXODUS 20:3

Idolatry is not just about worship. It is also about fear, obedience, service, and adoration. Men are guilty of idolatry when they give a person, object, power, or institution the place that only God should have.

There is a tendency for men to seek the place of God. Since God alone is the arbiter of good and evil, man exalts himself to the place of God when he asserts an alternate standard of good and evil.

When men establish alternate standards of right and wrong, they pervert truth, justice, and righteousness. Men under this kind of perverted authority must choose to obey God or men. Continued obedience, service, and loyalty to such a corrupted government is idolatry.

"THOU SHALT NOT BOW DOWN THYSELF TO THEM, NOR SERVE THEM."
EXODUS 20:5

The early persecuted Christians understood this choice. The Romans tested their fealty to the state by demanding that they swear "Cesar is lord," offer sacrifices to Romans gods, or swear an oath by the "luck of Cesar." They chose to obey God rather than men and were mercilessly slaughtered for their righteous resistance.

CHRISTIANS SHOULD ONLY CALL EVIL
WHAT GOD CALLS EVIL
AND ALWAYS CALL GOOD WHAT
GOD CALLS GOOD.
CHRISTIANS MUST REMAIN LOYAL TO THEIR HIGHEST AUTHORITY
GOD HIMSELF
ANYTHING ELSE IS IDOLATRY

WE OUGHT TO OBEY GOD RATHER THAN MEN.
ACTS 5:29

NO MAN CAN SERVE TWO MASTERS.

The Right to Lie?

In recent years, various federal officials have either stated or acted on their belief in the "right" of the federal government to lie to its citizens.
Some people, shocked by these statements, have acted as though this were some strange new doctrine. We find it, however, at least as far back as Plato's Republic, where is strongly maintained by Socrates and Plato. Truth, said Socrates, is "only useful to men in the way of a medicine"; therefore, "it is plain that such an agent must be kept in the hands of physicians, and that unprofessional men must not meddle with it." The rulers are the "doctors" and alone qualified to dispense the medicine, truth. "To the rulers of the state, then, if to any, it belongs the right to use falsehood, to deceive either enemies or their own citizens, for the good of the state: and no one else may meddle with this privilege." Anyone else lying must be severely punished, Socrates held, because the right to lie is a privilege of the civil authorities.
Friedrich Nietzsche, in Beyond Good and Evil, declared that "The falseness of an opinion is not for us any objection to it." In fact, he said that, without lies "man could not live_that the renunciation of false opinions would be a renunciation of life, a negation of life." Therefore we must "recognize untruth as a condition of life." In other words, since all life is a lie, and there is no such thing as truth, nor any  such thing as good and evil, a lie was a very helpful and necessary tool for rulers to use.
The so-called "right" to lie rests on two basic doctrines. First, if we believe there is no God, then we also believe that there is no truth, and also no good or evil, only a world of meaningless things. Second, in a world without God or meaning, the state or civil government must then play god and keep men happy by lying to them.
The "right" to lie is thus a belief which rests on atheism, on a rejection of God. Moreover, it makes a new god of civil government by making it man's new lord.
When the Bible commands that "Thou shalt not bear false witness" (Exod. 20:16; Deut. 5:20), it means that the God of truth requires all men to live by His law and in terms of His righteousness. The God of truth requires man, who is created in God's image, to bear witness to the truth. To bear false witness is thus not only to disobey God but deny Him: it is practical atheism. The "right" to lie is then practical atheism, atheism in the rulers and atheism in the people. Christian faith is in the right of truth, and in its inevitable triumph.

The Two Ten Commandments

When God gave the Ten Commandments to Moses, He instituted thereby the laws to govern man's relationship to God and to his fellow men. The first four commandments govern worship. The other six govern the family, property, man's speech and testimony ("Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour"), and the heart of man ("Thou shall not covet"). With the triumph of Christianity in the Western world, these laws became basic to all society, and the result was Christian civilization.
In 1847, however, another set of ten commandments for man and society were proclaimed by Marx and Engels in the Communist Manifesto. I was a program stated deliberately in ten points in order to provide the "new law" for mankind, to replace the Bible and its Ten Commandments. Marx' new "ten commandments" called for (1) abolition of private property in land; (2) the income tax; (3) abolition of all right of inheritance; (4) confiscation of all property of rebels and emigrants; (5) a national bank monopoly and concentration and centralization of credit in its hands; (6) state control of communications and transport; (7) state ownership of factories and instruments of production; (8) equal liability of all to labor and establishment of industrial armies, especially for agriculture; (9) combination of agriculture with industry and the abolition of the distinction between town and country; (10) free education, plus child labor as a part of education. The result, Marx believed, would be a wonderful and happy world.
Except for Marx' call for a new form of child labor, all his "ten commandments" are now in part or in whole in operation. The Communist Manifesto is a better description of our political goals than party platforms. But, the closer we get to Marx' communist heaven on earth, the more it resembles hell.
In every society, there must be a basic law, a fundamental law that establishes right and wrong. This the Ten Commandments has done for Western civilization for centuries. It has made God the ultimate law-giver, the Judge of right and wrong. The Ten Commandments has made worship, family, property, and moral integrity basic to man and society. It has been the foundation of our legal systems, as T.R. Ingram has shown in The World Under God's Law.
What Marx wanted, and what modern politics is doing, is to break up Christian civilization to create a new order, one based neither on God nor on godly character, law, and morality, but on environmentalism. Man is not a sinner, Marx believed, and it is not man's fault that he fails: it is his environment. Change the environment, change the world, and you will change man, and the result will be paradise on earth.
Two law systems are at war today, two sets of Ten Commandments. One offers man the good life through faith, godly morality, and law. The other offers the good life through changing the environment, that is, by revolutionary action. For the Christian the environment can only truly be changed as men are changed, and these men then remake their world and place it under God's law. For the Marxist men are changed by changing the environment, because man is only a reflex of his environment, not a lord over it. Between these two positions there can be no peace nor any coexistence.

THE TENTH COMMANDMENT

The tenth commandment is one of the longest statements of principle in the Decalogue. In its two versions, it reads:

Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's (Ex. 20:17).
Neither shalt thou desire thy neighbour's wife, neither shalt thou covet thy neighbour's house, his field, or his manservant, nor his maidservant, his ox, or his ass, or any thing that is thy neighbour's (Deut. 5:21).

...The meaning of this law depends in the meaning of covet. The rest of the law deals with the actions of men; does the law in this case deal with man's emotions instead, or have we misunderstood the meaning of covet? Noth has pointed out that covet in fact does mean much more than the emotion of coveting.

The commandment in v. 17 is formulated with a verb which is rendered "covet." But it describes not merely the emotion of coveting but also includes the attempt to attach something to one-self illegally. The commandment therefore deals with all possible undertakings which involve gaining power over the goods and possessions of a "neighbour," whether through theft or through all kinds of dishonest machinations. The first object to be named is the neighbour's house. The term "house" can in a narrow and special sense describe the dwelling -place, primarily the built house but also in every case the tent-"house" of the nomad; it can, however, also be used in a more or less wide or transferred sense to mean, for instance, the family, or to sum up everything which is included in the house.

Thus , when Exodus begins by forbidding coveting a neighbor's house, by house it means, as it then goes on to specify, the wife, the servants, animals, and all other possessions of our neighbor. First, the general term house is used, and then specific aspects of the "house" are described. In Deuteronomy, the citations are apparently all of specifics, including the "house."
Von Rad wrote of "covet" in equally telling terms:

If in the last commandment the translation of the verb as "covet" were correct, it would be the only case in which the decalogue deals not with an action, but with an inner impulse, hence with a sin of intention. But the corresponding Hebrew word (hamad) has two meanings, both to covet and to take. It includes out-ward malpractices, meaning seizing for oneself (John 7:21; Micah 2:2, etc).

When Jesus cited the tenth commandment in Mark 10:19, He clearly cited it in terms of a sin of action, and the Greek text uses the word aposteresis, to defraud of a thing, and it is translated in the King James Version as "defraud."
...The misconception of this law began with pietism, which limited God's law to moral precepts. Religion was internalized and therefore actions ceased to be as important as the "heart." On top of that, the idea that gain of any sort was somehow "unspiritual" was also propagated, so covetousness took on an exclusive evil meaning.
Habakkuk 2:9 gives us an example of the fact that Scripture made a distinction between good and evil covetousness. The meaning of the passage as both the King James and Berkeley Versions are examined:

Woe to him that coveteth an evil covetousness to his house, that he may set his nest on high, that he may be delivered from the power of evil! (KJV).
Woe to him who acquires an evil gain for his house, in order to set his seat on high, to be out of the reach of calamity! (BV).

Covetousness is here equated with gain; it is evil covetousness or gain which is condemned. Honest gain and godly covetousness are clearly not condemned.
St. Paul, in I Corinthians 12:31, used the word "covet" in its good sense: "But covet earnestly the best gifts"; The Berkeley  Version renders "covet" as "aim hard for," work earnestly and zealously for the best gifts.
Thus, what is clearly condemned by the tenth commandment is every attempt to gain by fraud, coercion, or deceit that which belongs to our neighbor. On this principle, alienation of affection suits were once a part of the law of the land. Their abuse by a lawless age led to their abolition, but the principle is sound. A person who works systematically to alienate the affections of a husband or wife in order to gain him or her for himself, sometimes together with his monetary assets, is guilty of violating this law.

THE NINTH COMMANDMENT

The ninth commandment, "Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour" (Ex. 20:16), has been widely misinterpreted to mean that "Thou shalt at all times and under all circumstances tell the truth to all men who may ask anything of you."
...But does God require us to tell the truth at all times? Such a proposition is highly questionable. The commandment is very clear: we are not to bear false witness against our neighbor, but this does not mean that our neighbor or our enemy is ever entitled to the truth from us, or any word from us, about matters of no concern to them, or of private nature to us. No enemy or criminal has any right to knowledge from us which can be used to do us evil. Scripture does not condemn Abraham and Isaac for lying in order to avoid murder and rape (Gen. 12:11-13; 20:2; 26:6,7); on the contrary, both are richly blessed by God, and the men who placed them in such an unhappy position are condemn and judged (Gen. 12:15-20; 20:3-18; 26:10-16). Like examples abound in Scripture. No one who is seeking to do us evil, to violate the law in reference to us or to another, is entitled to the truth.
More than that, it can with scriptural grounds be called an evil to tell the truth to evil men and enable them thereby to expedite their evil. Asaph declared, "When thou sawest a thief, then thou consentedst with him, and hast been partaker with adulterers" (Ps. 50:18). To see theft and to be silent is to be party to the theft. To see men planning theft or murder, and then to answer truthfully concerning the whereabouts of the man, woman, or property they mean to kill, rape, or steal, is to be party to their offense. Such truth-telling is then participation in the crime. In terms of this, Rahab, had she told the truth, would have been an accessory to the death of two men.
...To return to the matter of truth-telling, the Christian is under obligation to God to tell the truth at all times where normal communication exists. This truth telling means, not the exposure of our privacy, but bearing a true witness in relation to our neighbor. It does not apply to acts of war. Spying is legitimate, as are deceptive tactics in warfare. Protection from thieves requires concealment and walls.

THE EIGHTH COMMANDMENT

The eighth commandment, one of the two shortest, declares simply, "Thou shalt not steal" (Ex. 20:15; Deut. 5:19). Theft or stealing is taking another man's property by coercion, fraud, or without his uncoerced consent. Cheating, harming property, or destroying its value is also theft. It is not necessary for the robbed to know of the theft for it to be a sin. Thus, to ride a train or bus without paying one's fare is theft, even though the transportation company is unaware of the act.
Theft can be accomplished in a number of ways. First, in simple theft the thief robs the victim directly. Second, in complex but still direct theft, the thief robs the victim as part of the group of thieves. In such a case, a man may not be directly involved in the act of theft, but he is a party to it all the same as a knowing party in the corporate group of thieves. Third, theft can be accomplished by indirect and legal means, i.e., by passing a law which steals from the rich, the poor, or the middle-classes, for the benefit of a particular group. The state then becomes the agency whereby theft is accomplished, and a pseudo-moral cover is given by legal enactment.
Theft is not only the expropriation, legally or illegally, of another man's property against his will or by fraud, but also the destruction of property, or the value of property, by any wilful act or by accident. Thus, to destroy a man's house by arson or theft, but it is also theft if the house is burned down by carelessness. To damage a man's automobile is to rob him of its value; in this area, restitution has been made more or less mandatory by the insurance laws of various states. Because inflation weakens or destroys the values of paper currencies, inflation too is very definitely a form of theft.
Fraud too is clearly theft. A man may willingly purchase an item under the impression that it is what it is represented to be, but fraud on the part of the seller makes it clearly theft. to sell a man watered milk is theft; pure food and drug laws, however much abused today, are still valid laws in terms of Scripture. However, a corrupt people begets a corrupt state, which then cannot enforce even the best of laws without
corruption.
Necessity does not justify theft; necessity cannot give man any priority over God's law. However, some Roman Catholic thinkers, following the Greek natural law tradition, have given moral countenance to theft in times of necessity... Such a perspective gives man's life priority over God's law.
...Thus far, our definition of theft is incomplete. It must be added that theft is one form of violation of God's fundamental order. Theft is therefore more than an offense against another person; it is an offense against God. God requires us to respect the life, marriage, and property of our neighbor and enemy, not because our neighbor or enemy is not possibly evil, and not because our own needs are not great, but because His law-order takes priority over the condition of man. Neither the nature of our neighbor's character, which may be evil, nor our need, which may be great, can justify theft. The sovereignty of God requires the priority of His law-word.

THE SEVENTH COMMANDMENT

"The purpose of the seventh commandment, 'Thou shalt not commit adultery,' is to protect marriage. It is important, therefore, to analyze the Biblical meaning of marriage in order to understand the significance of the laws governing its violation. The institution of marriage (Gen. 2:18-25) in Eden describes the meaning of marriage in relationship to man; this will be considered subsequently. At present, the meaning of marriage in relationship to God must first be understood and will be analyzed.
While marriage is of this earth, since there is no marrying not giving in marriage in heaven (Matt. 22:29,30), it nonetheless has reference to and is governed by the triune God, as are all things. The great statement of this fact is Ephesians 5:21-23, which begins with the general commandment, 'Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God,' rendered by the Berkeley Version, 'Be submissive to one another out of reverence for Christ,' Calvin commented on this:

God has bound us so strongly to each other, that no man ought to endeavor to avoid subjection; and  where love reigns, mutual services will be rendered. I do not except kings and governors, whose very authority is held for the service of the community. It is highly proper that all should be exhorted to be subject to each other in their turn.
Thus, a general principle of subjection and service is affirmed, and marriage is then cited as illustrative of this principle. As Hodge noted, 'The apostle enjoins mutual obedience as a Christian duty, v. 21. Under this head he treats of the relative duties of husbands and wives, parents and children, masters and servants.' Man has through the ages been in revolt against this necessity of subjection and service and dreamed rather of autonomous power.
...With anarchism, this dream of autonomous power has become the hope of a large number of people.
This general principle of subjection and service is rooted in far more than men's interdependence; rather, it is grounded in a theocratic faith. Men are to be in subjection to one another, and in mutual service (Eph. 5:22-29), not because the needs of humanity require it but in the fear of God and in obedience to His law-word.  The human interdependence exists because the prior dependence on God requires the unity of His creation under His law.
Moreover, because man is not God, man is a subject, a subject primarily and essentially to God, and to others in the Lord only. Where man rejects his subjection to God and asserts his autonomy, man does not thereby gain independence. The subjection of man to man continues in pagan, Marxist, Fabian socialist, anarchist, and atheistic groups, but this subjection is now without the restraint of God's law. The Biblical subjection of man to man, and of a wife to her husband, is at every point governed and limited by the prior and absolute subjection to God, of which all other subjection are aspects. God's prior and absolute lordship thus limits and conditions every situation of man and permits no trespass without offense. To deny the Biblical principle of subjection is thus to open the door to totalitarianism and tyranny, since no check then remains on man's desire to dominate and use his fellow man. The Biblical principle of subjection conditions every relationship by the prior requirement and totally governing jurisdiction of God's law, so that all relationships on earth are limited and restricted by God´s law-word. Thus, wives are not placed in bondage by the Biblical commandment of submission (Eph. 5:22) but rather established in the liberty and security of a God-ordained relationship."
